City News, fresh in for🎈International Women’s Day🎈from The University of Salford and the Centre for Sustainable Innovation (CSI)

Our partnership, led by founder Anita Frost with the CSI began last year during a period of ebb and flow for the creative and SME communities. Since then, our journey has included a variety of consultations, innovation labs, and collaborative projects 🎬 .​

In celebration of International Women’s Day, Centre for Sustainable Innovation (CSI) sit down with multi-award-winning author and entrepreneur Anita Frost, founder of Green Bean Studios®, who developed the children’s edutainment brand on a foundation of sustainability. The brand’s core mission is to boost early years and child development through play, fun learning, and outdoor activities.

Centre for Sustainable Innovation (CSI) asked Anita about her journey, purpose, and explore the impact that taking part in CSI’s programmes has made on her business.

The week will feature Green Bean’s author Anita Frost,  bringing her  voice and perspective to engage with children. Our author will be conducting interactive workshops, reading from the beloved Green Bean books, and hosting engaging Q&A sessions. These events are designed to inspire creativity, encourage open discussion about the themes in our books, and show children that authors are real, accessible people who started their own journey with a love of reading.

We believe that direct interaction with authors is a powerful way to foster a lifelong passion for books. We are particularly focused on reaching underserved communities to ensure every child has the opportunity to participate in the joy of World Book Day. We'll be sharing highlights, photos, and quotes from the week across our social media channels, so keep an eye out for updates!
