This collaboration will be rolled out across all Wigan libraries. Activities and Participation The celebration will kick off with a series of engaging challenges, including den making and comic strip design. Exclusive author visits from Anita Frost, the creator of the multi-award-winning Green Bean, will also take place in selected schools. To participate in these exciting World Book Day challenges, simply visit any Wigan library. There, children can pick up comic strips, learn more about Green Bean, or borrow Green Bean books. You have to watch out though—I'm a playful bear who will definitely make you smile every day! I really enjoy getting creative and making things out of wooden objects I find around Adventure Dales.
