Since launching Green Bean Studios, it has been our mission to create precious moments for families to share together through fun adventures. Reading with children is one of the best ways for parents and caregivers to spend quality time together whilst supporting children’s learning, development, and wellbeing.
One of the core foundations of our brand is to encourage children to read for pleasure. Recent studies have shown that reading for pleasure is the most important factor for determining a child’s future success, bringing with it a wealth of benefits.
Reading aloud to children and teaching them to read independently not only opens up greater opportunities throughout their lives, but plays an important role in supporting their mental and emotional health.
With statistics showing a steady decline in children’s mental health over the past decade, and the ongoing after effects of the global pandemic still impacting children’s speech and language development, getting more children to love books from a young age is fundamental to enable the next generation to thrive.
In a recent interview on BBC Breakfast, a young father who couldn’t read spoke about how his daughter inspired him to learn to read. The driving force for him to finally learn to read was so that he could share "precious moments" with his daughter and read her favourite books to her.
These precious moments are the cornerstone of Green Bean Studios. This year we are excited to be launching our #PreciousMoments Campaign. We are looking for grandparents, parents, caregivers and educators to become Precious Moments Ambassadors, who will help us to support children to learn, play, and have fun adventures!
We’re looking for individuals who genuinely care about giving children the best start in life, supporting their health and wellbeing, and enabling them to learn and develop with confidence.
Though our ambassador programme is an inclusive community that is open to everyone, each ambassador will have access to exclusive benefits including sneak peeks at new product releases before anyone else, early access to buy new items from the Green Bean Collection, and exclusive content related to children’s books, toys, education, and entertainment!
