Enter our Christmas Writing Competition for your chance to WIN some

This competition is open to Primary School children in the Wigan area, in partnership with participating Wigan libraries.

The categories for entry are:
1st place and 2nd place prizes will be awarded for each category.​

Competition is in partnership with Green Bean Studios and is open to primary school children in Wigan.

How to Enter:

• Write a Christmas-themed short story up to 500 words featuring fictional character Green Bean.
• Entrants must write their story on the templated writing paper supplied for their age group category (these can be collected from participating libraries in Wigan).
• For children who cannot yet write the story down themselves, stories can be dictated and written down by a parent or caregiver.
• Return the completed story to your participating library or send directly to events@greenbeancollection.co.uk .
• Be sure to follow & share how your writing journey is progressing with us via Twitter or via Instagram ​

Terms and Conditions:

• Competition runs from 26th November to 17th December 2021.
• Winners will be announced 20th December 2021 via our social media channels and website.
• Gifts will be author-signed prizes from Green Bean Collection valuing from £15 to £30, along with a Trafford Centre gift card valuing from £15 to £30.
• Winners will be chosen by a member of the Green Bean Studios team.
• Competition is in partnership with Wigan Libraries.
• All work must be undertaken by the child independently.
• Children with learning difficulties or special needs are welcome to send a video recording, speaking their Christmas story out loud.   ​
