Green Bean Studios the home of the Green Bean Collection a fun, educational and imaginative range of children's toys and books that a whole family can enjoy together. Let's walk together through September 2018 to September 2019 and all the adventures we had along the way.
The Community Learning and development is at the heart of the Green Bean Collection and we have strived to help young children grow in their understanding. Our successful storytime sessions around the UK tripled by June 2019, having the absolute pleasure as a team to connect with more children and families on a grander and wider scale. Some of our highlight locations were in Manchester, Cheshire, Trafford and Devon. Seeing Devon a great seaside attraction become a firm favourite of the Green Bean Collection, with toy stores doubling on repeat orders. We invite you to come with your children to enjoy even more adventures with Green Bean and friends this winter as our festive roadshow gets underway on the thirteenth of November 2019 starting at Nantwich Bookshop in Cheshire.  Families Green Bean Collection celebrates its second anniversary and to mark the end of an incredible year, let's hear what our customers think. “We LOVE the Green Bean collection! Here at the Green Bean Studios, we honour the fact that kids need space to read and through the Green Bean Collection we have created characters that encourage and celebrates learning. Our teaching goes beyond learning about numbers and colours - we seek to build the confidence of young children and demonstrate the importance of friendship. The individuality of each character lends itself to lessons about the uniqueness of each child and how we are all special as we are. Green Bean, Mr Bear and new friend, Beckett the Bee, partake in fun adventures that take children on a magical journey. “Green Bean collection books has been a life-changing experience with my son getting excited about the characters and has that personal connection. Sparking Imagination With our fictional character, Green Bean, we take children on an adventure of learning and understanding, highlighting key vocabulary and identifying areas of interest for children. Through enhancing their imaginations and broadening their horizons, we help children to think creatively and grow in confidence. Understanding that a child’s education starts before formal schooling is essential, so we provide parents and carers with the resources to encourage learning from early childhood. To cater to the growing interest in technology, we released more Youtube footage this year ‘Green Bean At The Pool” to take your children on adventures in the comfort of your own home. Green Bean will educate and entertain your little ones through storytelling and interaction. Check out our brand new kids journal, with downloadable activities along with much more... Retail We launched our first retail wall feature at Waterstones Deansgate in Manchester City Center. This showstopper quickly gained traction from new and existing fans, the back to school range sold out within a few short weeks. Hey! you can never have too many books and toys to help you learn right? This year our new packaging and box gift sets have been a massive hit with customers and a sell-out across many of our pop up stores. Our retail journey can be enjoyed by visiting one of our pop up shops across the UK while listening to an extra special storytime with Green Bean and Friends. Our great storytimes also happen within many independent book and toy stores Devon, Trafford, Cheshire, Liverpool and Manchester City Center each one promised to be a great family day out. Shop online or collect at your local Waterstones, the Green Bean Collection is also featured across the UK in independent bookshops and toy shops. Thank you These last two years have been a fantastic period of growth and we are grateful to our clients and customers who trusted in us and our products. Your requests, demands, and feedbacks have pushed us to go a long way and improve our business to make it so great. Our story is incomplete without the encouragement and positive reviews of our clients and customers that has spurred us to develop and grow as a business.  Special Message Founder & Author Anita Frost We have an incredible team and a super big vision for the future. The team are moving into a new headquarters in October 2019, following rapid growth in our first year. Early 2020 brand new toys and books will be hitting the shelves across several stores, bringing our customers more to enjoy from the Green Bean Collection. We cannot wait to see what this next year has in store for the business! Our next year's main focus will be customer service, community engagement, character awareness, increasing our distribution availability, for now, we sturdy the sails for a strong sail into our third year of business growth.
