Our Commitment: Giving Back to Planet and People
As a circular economy brand, giving back is fundamental to everything we do. We focus our commitment across four key areas: Earth, Community, Kids, and Generosity.
Earth: Sustainable by Design
In a market saturated with fast-profit, fast-plastic children's media, we stand apart. We build our brand authentically, prioritising sustainable practices. Our deep commitment to the environment is evidenced by our forest-friendly certification and the use of eco-conscious materials like cornstarch, vegetable starch, vegetable inks in printing, and vegan fabrics. Reports from Global Lancaster Innovation University validate our innovative, sustainable approach.
Community & Impact: Driving Growth
We are a leading circular economy brand, actively driving sustainable economic growth, creating new jobs, and fostering R&D opportunities. For many years, we have invested in our local ecosystem through student placements and engagement with local schools, nurseries, libraries, and independent businesses. Our founder, Anita, is a passionate mentor, championing and empowering young entrepreneurs, with a specific focus on women and underrepresented voices.
Kids: Redefining Children's Entertainment
We are transforming children's entertainment for good. With every purchase across our retail lines, media, and attractions, we redirect a percentage of our profits back into local and overseas communities. This commitment supports children and families in overcoming poverty, fostering learning, encouraging enterprise, and helping them enjoy everyday life.
Global Giving: Empowering Families to Thrive
We are passionate about supporting vulnerable families around the world. We proudly sponsor several children in some of the world's poorest countries, an ongoing commitment we have maintained for many years.
We have supported these children from one years old and will right up until they start their working lives. Our current sponsorships focus on children in Rwanda, Indonesia, and Haiti.
Beyond monthly sponsorship, we provide gifts for the children on their birthdays and at Christmas, along with gifts for the whole family. We also provide funding to help families achieve sustainability by growing crops, acquiring land and animals, and supporting their journey into enterprise. We cherish the opportunity to write to the children, sharing photos of our activities in the UK, and we are always delighted to receive their letters, photos, creative drawings and family news.
In addition to our global work with Compassion UK, our local giving rotates around supporting Alder Hey Children's Hospital, Cash for Kids, and community impact projects that provide support to vulnerable children and families in times of need.

We have supported these children from one years old and will right up until they start their working lives. Our current sponsorships focus on children in Rwanda, Indonesia, and Haiti.
- Rwanda: Still healing from the horrific 1994 genocide, parents who were children at the time face ongoing challenges. Although primary education is free, many families struggle with the cost of essentials like uniforms and books. Our sponsorship ensures these children have the necessary resources to support their educational journey, opening up vital opportunities for them to thrive and become self-sufficient adults.
- Indonesia: We aim to counteract the prevalent issue of child labor that often sidelines and impacts children's education.
- Haiti: The country continues to struggle with poverty following the 2010 earthquake, statistically remaining one of the poorest in the Western Hemisphere.
