At Green Bean’s house, there is a beautiful garden where Green Bean grows all sorts of plants – beautiful blooming flowers, which smell blooming marvellous!  All the friends in Adventure Dales love looking after Green Bean’s garden and getting stuck in when it’s time to harvest the homegrown goodies from the fruit and veg patches yum yum! 

Come rain or shine, Green Bean is always ready to get out in the garden and care for the plants, with a trusty trowel, a watering can, and of course you will find Beany wearing that very stylish pair of red wellington boots.

Gardening is a great tool for teaching kids about the environment and the life cycle of plants. Not only is it a rich learning experience, but gardening and working with nature has been proven to promote good mental health for children and adults alike.

With pollinators such as bees under increasing threat from the climate crisis and a decline in suitable habitats, our insect friends need all the help they can get!
